Back to Union Lido

We now travel halfway around the world — yet still keep returning to Cavallino with our caravan. To a holiday of familiar routines, shared memories and the freedom of not having to discover something new every day.

Union Lido is a campsite, a place of memories and a starting point all at once. The holiday also takes in the lagoon, bicycle rides across the islands and Venice — a neighbour that feels different on every visit.

Angie and Gerhard

We travel in different ways, preferably under our own steam, usually with too much luggage (but only because you never know in advance what a journey will bring), sometimes with bicycles, and almost always wondering what it is that stays with us from a place.

Unterwegs. Aufgefallen. is our attempt not just to share our journeys, but to see how they linger: the routes we take, what catches our eye, photographs, practical experiences and thoughts that sometimes only surface later.
